Impact

By becoming a mentor or donor in Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana, you are contributing to one of the most effective service organizations in the state and nation. In 2007, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Indiana served 1,153 youth (Littles) with safe, quality relationships that helped them grow by:

Improving their sense of self and community;
Achieving a greater sense of awareness and excitement about their future; and,
Developing a positive attitude toward school and learning.

Mentoring relationships can have a lasting impact among these youth among our mentors (Bigs) who volunteer either on-site or independently out in the community.
